Has worked in all areas of the print industry over the past 20 years,
Having started Stencil making for a Screen Printing company, Jack
quickly developed a passion for the Industry, learning his trade quickly
and efficently he quickly moved up from working in the back room onto
machine and hand bench work, Jack was producing point of sale materials
and Art Prints for blue chip companies and Artists alike.
The current time meant that computers
were at there early stages and all designs were photographed and developed
onto positive film, Colour seperations were outsourced at this time
as image setting was only just coming into an affordable market.
Jack soon found himself cutting film and planning colour seperations
in the graphics department, his previous experience in the stencil
room and on the machines gave him advantage over all the other planners
in this department.
Jack had learned the screen printing trade
after just 5 years and now he needed to gain more knowledge in a diferent
area. A chance meeting with a childhood friend who worked for a Large
off-set web plant gave him the oppotunity to go and work in Londons
West Ferry Printers. Jacks role was planning colour film and laying
